Getting There

  • Train

    From Koblenz, head to the Koblenz Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Purchase a ticket to the nearest train station to Loreley, which is St. Goar. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at St. Goar, exit the station and walk towards the river. From there, you can catch a local bus (Bus 650) or take a scenic walk along the Rhine River towards the Loreley, which is about 4 km away.

    From Koblenz, make your way to the central bus station (Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof). Take Bus 650 towards St. Goar. The journey takes around 45 minutes. Once you reach the bus stop at St. Goar, you can either continue on foot (a 4 km walk) or take a taxi to Loreley.

  • Ferry

    From Koblenz, head to the riverbank where the passenger ferry terminal is located. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to St. Goar.
