Cable Car
The most scenic and convenient way to reach the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, where the Landesmuseum is located, is via the Koblenz cable car (Seilbahn Koblenz). The valley station is located near the Deutsches Eck (German Corner) in Koblenz. A round-trip ticket costs approximately €14.90 for adults. From the fortress cable car station, it's a short, signposted walk to the Landesmuseum entrance.
Public Transport
From Koblenz Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take bus line 9 or 10 to the 'Ehrenbreitstein Brücke' stop. Cross the bridge and follow the signs for the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress cable car (Seilbahn). From the cable car station on the fortress, it's a short, signposted walk to the Landesmuseum entrance. A single bus fare is approximately €3. The cable car is then required to reach the fortress (round-trip €14.90).
Driving
If driving, follow signs to Festung Ehrenbreitstein. Limited parking is available at the top near the fortress entrance. Parking fees are approximately €2.50 per hour.
