From the upper station of the Koblenz cable car or the fortress lift, follow the signs within Ehrenbreitstein Fortress towards the main grounds. The Ehrenmal is located in a recessed area within the fortress walls, a short walk from the main entrance. The path is paved and generally accessible.

Public Transport
Take bus line 1 to the 'Festung/Jugendherberge' (Fortress/Youth Hostel) stop. From there, it's a short, signposted walk to the fortress entrance. Alternatively, take the train to Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein station, then walk approximately 10 minutes to the fortress lift (€1.80 single ride) which provides direct access to the fortress grounds. A VRM ticket is required for bus and train.

Drive to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress via Greiffenklaustrasse. Limited paid parking is available near the fortress entrance (€2 for the first hour, €1.50 for each additional hour, €20 per day). From the parking area, follow the signs to the main fortress grounds and the Ehrenmal.
