Walking
From Koblenz Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit towards the city center. Walk along Bahnhofstraße for approximately 600 meters until you reach Dreifaltigkeitsplatz. Continue straight ahead, and you will arrive at Josef-Görres-Platz, where the History Column is located. The walk takes about 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, if you are near Deutsches Eck, walk towards the Old Town. Follow the river promenade, which leads to the main street and directly to Görresplatz. This walk also takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
Public Transport
From Koblenz Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 1 towards Koblenz-Lützel or bus line 5 towards Koblenz Altstadt. Get off at the Koblenz Rathaus stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Görresplatz. Follow the signs towards the Altstadt. A single ticket for a short trip costs approximately €2.00.
