Getting There

• U-Bahn

  To reach Hellabrunn Zoo, start by finding the nearest U-Bahn station. If you are near the city center, you can take the U2 line (the blue line) towards Messestadt Ost. Get off at the stop called 'Sendlinger Tor'. At Sendlinger Tor, switch to the U6 line (the green line) towards Klinikum Großhadern. Stay on the U6 until you reach the stop 'Tierpark'. Once you exit the train at Tierpark, follow the signs to Tierparkstraße. The zoo entrance will be a short walk from the station.

• Tram

  If you prefer to take the tram, head to the nearest tram stop. From the city center, you can catch tram line 16 or 17 towards 'Am Hart'. Get off at the stop 'Niederföhringer Straße'. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Hellabrunn Zoo. Walk southeast on Niederföhringer Straße and turn right onto Tierparkstraße. The zoo entrance will be on your left.

• Bus

  You can also take a bus to Hellabrunn Zoo. From the city center, find a nearby bus stop and take bus line 52 towards 'St. Quirin Platz'. Get off at the stop 'Tierpark'. The zoo is directly across the street from the bus stop. Simply cross the street to reach the entrance.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby, you may consider walking to Hellabrunn Zoo. Look up your current location on a map and head towards Tierparkstraße. The zoo is located at Tierparkstraße 30. Follow the street signs or use a GPS-enabled device to guide you to the entrance.
