Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Day Tour from Munich

Worth seeing!

Fantastic tour! Phenomenal to see the opulence built primarily for one person in a time long ago. Such ornate wood carving, breathtaking porcelain work. Time and money well spent!

Neuschwanstein Castle Tour from Munich

Late August visit to Neuschwannstein Castle.

Reserving tickets online was very quick & simple. Good instructions were given to find the meeting place. We travelled by bus, which was very comfortable, with a comfort stop made after about 30 minutes. We passed through lovely countryside. Our excellent guide Werner explained sites as we passed. He was so friendly and had excellent knowledge of Neuschwannstein and King Ludwig ll. There was time for a quick lunch before we went to the bridge for views from a distance and commenced the tour of the castle. The tour inside the castle is conducted by staff there with portable listening devices for each visitor so we could hear what was said. Not all of the rooms are open, because the castle was never completed and visitors are forbidden to take photographs inside. The castle is spectacular, the views are amazing, it is well worth the visit. Our guide Werner gave explicit instructions which helped us get the best out of our visit. Thank you Werner, and thank you radius tours.

VIP Daytrip Neuschwanstein, Linderhof and Grotto from Munich

10/10 Recommend.

10/10 Recommend. We booked VIP because we could not find another tour that had all the tickets included with the upfront payment and it was absolutely worth it for us. If you book the regular tour you have to bring cash to get your tickets, drinks & ride up to the castle along the way. So, VIP is a great non-hastle option. I read the reviews that it wasn't necessary but for us it was an extra little treat for ourselves. We got front row seating on the bus, so we had a panoramic view of the beautiful drive, unlimited drinks, free ponchos (it rained for like 20 minutes maybe), and we got amazing German snacks that we loved trying. Other couples asked us why we got reserved seating, and we felt so special. Everything was SEEMLESS! Cannot recommend more.
