If you are starting from Munich Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take the U2 subway line towards Messestadt North. Get off at the next stop, Sendlinger Tor. From Sendlinger Tor, transfer to the U5 line towards Neuperlach South. Get off at the next stop, Odeonsplatz. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the exit marked 'Brienner Straße'. At Odeonsplatz, head north along Brienner Straße until you reach the intersection with Barer Straße.
