Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are near the Munich central station (Hauptbahnhof), take the U-Bahn (subway) line U5 towards Laimer Platz. Get off at the next stop, which is 'Marienplatz'. From Marienplatz, follow the signs to the exit that leads to Residenzstraße. Once you exit, walk straight down Residenzstraße, and you will find the Antiquarium located at Residenzstraße 1.

  • Walking

    If you are in the Altstadt-Lehel area, you can simply walk to Antiquarium. From the Marienplatz, head towards the Residenz (the palace). Walk along the southern side of the palace gardens until you reach Residenzstraße. Turn right onto Residenzstraße, and you will see the entrance to Antiquarium on your left.

  • Tram

    If you are near the Sendlinger Tor, take tram line 16 or 17 towards 'Giesing' or 'Am Hart'. Get off at the stop 'Maxmonument'. From there, walk towards the Isar river, cross the bridge, and follow the signs to the Residenz. Once you reach Residenzstraße, Antiquarium will be located at number 1.
