Getting There

• Subway

  If you're in the central area of Munich, head to the nearest subway station, which is likely Sendlinger Tor or Marienplatz. From either of these stations, take the U5 subway line towards Neuperlach Süd. After 2 stops, get off at Odeonsplatz. Once you exit the subway, follow the signs to the exit leading to the Ludwigstraße. Walk straight along Ludwigstraße until you reach Salvatorplatz, which will be on your left side.

• Tram

  Find the nearest tram stop, which may be located at Stachus (Karlsplatz) or Sendlinger Tor. From Stachus, take tram line 19 towards Pasing. Get off at the stop called 'Lehel' after a few stops. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the intersection of Lehel and Salvatorplatz. You should see Salvatorplatz just ahead.

• Bus

  If you are near the Hauptbahnhof (Main train station), head to the bus stop located in front of the station. Take bus line 100 towards 'München, St. Paul', and get off at the 'Lehel' stop. From there, walk a short distance to reach Salvatorplatz, which is just around the corner.

• Walking

  If you are staying in the Altstadt (Old Town) area, you can easily walk to Salvatorplatz. From Marienplatz, head east along Dienerstraße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Salvatorstraße. Turn left onto Salvatorstraße, and you will find Salvatorplatz shortly after, on your right.
