Public Transport - U-Bahn
If you're near the Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the U-Bahn (subway) Line U2 towards Röthenbach. Ride for just 2 stops and get off at the 'Plärrer' station. At Plärrer, transfer to U-Bahn Line U1 towards Langwasser Süd. Travel for 2 more stops and get off at 'Wöhrder Wiese'. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to the museum. Head southeast on Lessingstraße, and you'll find the German Railway Museum at Lessingstraße 6, 90443 Nürnberg.
Public Transport - Tram
From the Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof, take Tram Line 8 towards Gerhardshofen. Ride for 4 stops until you reach 'Wöhrder Wiese'. After getting off, walk about 10 minutes southeast along Lessingstraße. The German Railway Museum will be located on your left at Lessingstraße 6, 90443 Nürnberg.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the city center, you can walk to the museum. From the main square (Hauptmarkt), head southwest towards Weißgerberstraße. Continue straight until you reach Lessingstraße. Turn left onto Lessingstraße, and the German Railway Museum will be located at Lessingstraße 6, 90443 Nürnberg, about a 20-minute walk.
