Car
If you're driving, head towards Bad Dürkheim in the Palatinate region. From the center of Bad Dürkheim, take the B37 road heading towards Neustadt an der Weinstraße. After about 3 km, follow the signs for Burg Schlosseck. You'll then take a local road that leads into the forest. Note that parking might be limited, so look for designated parking areas near the trailheads leading to the castle.
Public Transportation
Take a regional train to Bad Dürkheim from nearby cities such as Mannheim or Ludwigshafen. Once you arrive at Bad Dürkheim train station, exit the station and find the bus stop. Board bus line 470 towards 'Neustadt an der Weinstraße' and get off at the 'Burg Schlosseck' stop. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. From the bus stop, follow the marked hiking trails leading to the castle, which should take approximately 20-30 minutes on foot.
