Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, such as Kaiserslautern. Take the A6 highway towards Mannheim and exit at the junction for the B270 towards Ramstein-Miesenbach. Continue on the B270 until you reach the B40, then take the exit towards Rothselberg. Follow the signs to Rothselberg village. Once in the village, look for signs directing you to Selbergturm. The parking area is located at the base of the hill leading to the tower.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train to the nearest station, which is Kaiserslautern. From Kaiserslautern, catch a local bus (Line 107) towards Rothselberg. Get off at the 'Rothselberg' stop. From there, you can either walk (approximately 2.5 km) to Selbergturm, following the signs, or use a taxi service available in the village to reach the tower directly.
Walking
If you have parked your car or arrived by bus in Rothselberg, you can walk to Selbergturm. Starting from the village center, head north on Hauptstraße, then turn right onto a local path leading uphill. Follow this path for about 30 minutes, and you will reach the observation tower, which is set atop a hill with a stunning view of the surrounding Palatinate region.
