If you are traveling by car, start by entering 'Neckarstaden 66, 69117 Heidelberg' into your GPS. From the center of Palatinate, head towards the A5 motorway. Merge onto the A5 towards Heidelberg. Take exit 38-Heidelberg/Schwetzingen and follow signs for B535 towards Heidelberg. Continue on B535, which leads directly into Heidelberg. Once in the city, follow signs for the Altstadt (Old Town). The Brückenaffe is located near the Old Bridge (Alte Brücke) at Neckarstaden 66. There is public parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply, usually around €2-€4 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Brückenaffe using public transportation, take a train to Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (Main Station). From there, you can catch tram line 5 towards 'Heidelberg, Alte Brücke'. The tram ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at 'Heidelberg, Alte Brücke' stop. From the tram stop, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Brückenaffe. Simply head towards the Old Bridge, and you will find it at Neckarstaden 66. Make sure to check the local train and tram schedules on the VRN website for the latest timings. A single ticket costs approximately €2.40.
