Car
From any location in Palatinate, head towards Neckargemünd. Use the A5 or A6 highways depending on your starting point, and follow the signs for Neckargemünd. Once in Neckargemünd, take the B37 towards Dilsberg. After about 5 km, you will see signs for Dilsberg. Turn onto Burghofweg, where Dilsberg Castle is located. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking may incur a fee.
Public Transportation
If you are traveling by public transportation, take a train to Neckargemünd. From the Neckargemünd train station, you can take bus line 38 towards Dilsberg. Get off at the 'Dilsberg' stop, which is the closest to the castle. The castle is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs toward Burghofweg, where Dilsberg Castle is located. Note that the bus ticket may cost around €2-€3.
Walking
For those who prefer walking, if you are already in Dilsberg, the castle is easily accessible from the village. Start at the main village square and follow the signs directing you to Burghofweg. It’s about a 15-minute uphill walk to the castle entrance, so wear comfortable shoes.
