Car
If you're driving, take the A5 motorway towards Heidelberg. Follow signs for B37 toward Heidelberg. Once you reach the city, follow signs for 'Heidelberger Altstadt' and 'Alte Brücke'. Park at one of the nearby parking facilities such as 'P12 Alte Brücke' (address: Alte Brücke, 69117 Heidelberg) where parking costs approximately €1.50 per hour. From the parking, walk towards 'Alte Brücke' which is a short 5-minute walk to reach Stadttor Heidelberg.
Train
For public transportation, take a regional train to Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (main station). Depending on your starting point in Palatinate, you may need to change trains at Mannheim or another major station. Once at Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and take the tram line 5 towards 'Heidelberg Altstadt'. Get off at 'Heidelberg Altstadt' stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Stadttor Heidelberg. Follow the signs towards 'Alte Brücke'.
Bus
If you're using the bus, check the local bus routes that connect to Heidelberg. Once you arrive at the Heidelberg bus station, walk towards the center of the city. The Stadttor is located near 'Alte Brücke'. It will take you about 15 minutes to walk from the bus station to the Stadttor Heidelberg.
