Public Transport - Train
From Potsdam Central Station (Potsdam Hauptbahnhof), take the S7 or S5 train towards Berlin. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at Alexanderplatz station. From the station, follow the signs to exit towards Alexanderplatz square.
Public Transport - Tram
Begin your journey at Potsdam Central Station (Potsdam Hauptbahnhof). Take tram line 92 towards S+U Pankow, and get off at 'S+U Alexanderplatz' stop. The ride will take around 35 minutes. Once you exit the tram, you will be at Alexanderplatz.
Walking
If you are already in central Potsdam, you can walk to Alexanderplatz by first heading to the nearest bus or tram stop, then take tram line 91 towards S+U Alexanderplatz for about 30-40 minutes, followed by a short walk from the tram stop to the square. Alternatively, prepare for a long walk of approximately 12 kilometers which will take around 2.5 hours.
