Getting There

  • Tram

    If you are starting from the Potsdam Main Station (Potsdam Hbf), take Tram Line 96 towards 'S+U Alexanderplatz' and get off at the stop 'S+U Alexanderplatz'. From there, transfer to Tram Line M5 towards 'Hönow' and ride until you reach the stop 'Karl-Marx-Allee'. Walk southeast for about 10 minutes towards Schloßpl. 1, and you will arrive at the Humboldt Forum.

  • Train

    From Potsdam Main Station (Potsdam Hbf), take the regional train RE1 towards 'Magdeburg' and travel for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at 'Berlin Hauptbahnhof'. From there, take bus 147 or 200 towards 'U-Bahnhof Alexanderplatz' and disembark at the 'Schloßplatz' stop. The Humboldt Forum will be a short walk from there.

  • Bus

    From the center of Potsdam, you can catch Bus 694 at the 'Potsdam, Nauen Tor' stop towards 'S-Bahnhof Michendorf'. After about 20 minutes, get off at 'S+U Berlin Friedrichstraße' stop. After getting off, walk east towards Schloßpl. 1 for about 15 minutes, and you will reach the Humboldt Forum.

  • Walking

    If you are near the city center of Potsdam, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Humboldt Forum. Start from Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor) and head north towards the river. Continue along the riverbank until you reach 'Potsdam, Hauptbahnhof'. From there, follow the signs to the S-Bahn station and board a train to Berlin. Once in Berlin, walk towards Schloßpl., which is about a 20-minute walk from the station.
