If you're driving from Koblenz, take the B49 road heading south towards Cochem. After approximately 30 kilometers, you'll see signs for Cochem. Follow the signs into the town center, and park in one of the public parking areas. From the parking lot, it's a short walk along Schlossstraße, and you'll see Cochem Castle on the hill.

To get to Cochem Castle using public transport, take a train from Koblenz to Cochem. Trains depart regularly from Koblenz Hauptbahnhof (main station) to Cochem Bahnhof (station). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Cochem Bahnhof, exit the station and follow the signs to Castle Road (Schlossstraße). It is about a 20-minute uphill walk from the station to the castle. Alternatively, you can take a local bus that runs from the station to the castle.
