Kruiswegpark, located in Roermond, is a unique and historical park that provides a tranquil retreat for visitors. The Redemptorist fathers, who settled near the chapel in 1862, played a crucial role in promoting pilgrimages to the site. The park has a religious and recreational character.The Stations of the Cross, crafted from French limestone by Roermond sculptor Karel Lücker, depict scenes from the Passion of Christ. The Calvary Hill features sculptures by Jean Geelen, while the paintings along the processional route are the work of Albin Windhausen.
