After approximately 10 minutes, you will arrive in Beilstein. Follow the local signs to Burg Metternich, which is located at Burg Metternich, 56814 Beilstein. There is a small parking area near the entrance, and parking is usually free.

    Train and Bus

    For those using public transportation, take a train to Cochem from major cities such as Koblenz or Trier. Once you arrive at Cochem train station, exit and look for the bus stop outside the station. Take Bus 712 towards Beilstein. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the Beilstein stop. From the bus stop, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Burg Metternich. Follow the signs leading you uphill to the castle.
