Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Pünderich, which is located at 56862 Pünderich. From most locations in Rhineland, you can use the A48 or A61 highways to reach the nearby town of Cochem. From Cochem, follow the B49 road along the Moselle River towards Pünderich. Once you arrive in Pünderich, look for signs directing you to the Prinzenkopf observation tower. There is a small parking area available near the base of the tower, where you can leave your car.

Public Transportation
To reach Prinzenkopf by public transport, take a train to Cochem Bahnhof (Cochem Train Station). From Cochem, you can catch a local bus (Bus Line 712) towards Pünderich. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the bus stop for Pünderich. From there, it’s about a 20-minute walk to the observation tower, following signs that lead you along the hiking paths. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited on weekends.

If you enjoy hiking, you can also take a scenic route to the Prinzenkopf observation tower. From the center of Pünderich, follow the marked hiking trails towards the Prinzenkopf. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes and offers beautiful views of the Moselle River along the way. Be sure to wear appropriate shoes, as the trails can be uneven.
