If you are driving, you can reach Metternich Castle located at Burg Metternich, 56814 Beilstein, Germany. From the center of Koblenz, take the B49 towards Boppard. Continue on B49 for approximately 25 kilometers until you see the signs for Beilstein. Once you arrive in Beilstein, follow the signs to Burg Metternich. You will need to park in the designated parking area in the village, as the castle itself is not accessible by car. Please note that parking may incur a small fee.

Train and Bus
For those using public transportation, take a train from your location in Rhineland to the nearest station, which is Cochem. From Cochem, you can take a bus (Bus 712) towards Beilstein. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Beilstein, follow the signs to Burg Metternich. The castle is a short walk from the bus stop, but it is advisable to wear comfortable shoes as the path may be steep.
