Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Koblenz. From the A48 motorway, take the exit for Koblenz and follow signs for B9 towards Koblenz. Once in Koblenz, follow the signs for 'Schloss Stolzenfels'. You will want to take the B49 towards the 'Rhein' and exit onto 'Schlossweg'. There is a parking area near the castle. Please note that parking may incur a fee, so be prepared with coins or a credit card.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a train to Koblenz Hauptbahnhof (main station). From there, you can catch bus number 8 or 9 that heads towards 'Stolzenfels'. Get off at the 'Stolzenfels' stop. The bus ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule as they may vary throughout the day. A single ticket costs approximately €2.80.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the bus stop, it is about a 20-minute walk to Stolzenfels Castle from the 'Stolzenfels' bus stop. Head towards the river and follow the signs for the castle, which will take you through beautiful landscapes and trails. The path is well-marked but be prepared for some uphill walking as you approach the castle.
