If you are starting from the Marktplatz (Market Square), head east along Herrngasse street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Burggasse. Turn left onto Burggasse, and continue walking for another 200 meters. You will see Castle Gate (Burgtor) on your right. It's located at Alte Burg, 91541 Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

From the Rothenburg Town Hall, exit the building and turn left onto the main street (Hauptstraße). Walk north for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Plönlein (a famous junction). Turn right onto Burggasse, and continue down this street for approximately 300 meters. Castle Gate (Burgtor) will be on your left side.

If you are near the Rothenburg ob der Tauber train station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Follow the signs for the Old Town, which will lead you to Klosterstraße. Walk straight for about 800 meters until you reach the city walls. Once there, turn right and walk along the wall for about 200 meters.
