If you are driving from any location on Rügen Island, head towards the mainland via the Rügen Bridge (Rügendamm) if you are coming from the north or the south. Once you reach the bridge, follow the signs for Stralsund. After crossing the bridge, merge onto B96 towards Stralsund. Continue on B96 for about 20 km. Upon entering Stralsund, follow signs for the city center. As you approach the city center, turn onto Marienstraße, where St. Mary's Church is located at Marienstraße 16. There is limited street parking available nearby, so be prepared to walk a short distance to the church.

To reach St. Mary's Church via public transportation, first find your way to the nearest bus or train station. If you are near Binz or Sassnitz, take a train to Stralsund. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Stralsund Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and catch bus line 1 or 4 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Stadtmitte' stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to St. Mary's Church. Simply head south on Mönchstraße, then turn left onto Marienstraße, where the church is located at number 16. Make sure to check the local schedules for bus and train times before your journey.
