Continue on B172 until you reach Lohmen. From Lohmen, follow the signs for Bastei, which will lead you to Basteiweg. There is parking available near the entrance but be prepared to pay a small fee, usually around €5.

To reach Basteiaussicht via public transport, first take a regional train (S-Bahn) to Pirna from cities like Dresden. Once you arrive at Pirna station, transfer to a bus (Bus line 237) that goes directly to Lohmen. Disembark at 'Lohmen Bastei' bus stop. From there, it's a short walk to Basteiweg. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends.
