From Charlottenplatz, walk northwest along the Eberhardstraße for approximately 5 minutes. The Marktplatz will be on your left, just past the Rathaus. A single VVS ticket for Zone 1 costs €3.30 and is valid for 3 hours.

From the Schlossplatz, walk east along Königstraße, then turn right onto Schulstraße. Continue straight onto Marktstraße, and you'll arrive directly at the Marktplatz in about 5-7 minutes. The Rathaus will be directly in front of you.
