Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are near Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the U-Bahn (subway) Line U5, U6, U7, or U12. Board the train heading towards 'Leinfelden' (U5), 'Fellbach' (U6), 'Schönbühl' (U7), or 'Hölderlinplatz' (U12). Travel for 2 stops and get off at 'Stadtmitte' station. From here, exit the station and walk towards the direction of 'Königstraße', which is the main shopping street. Continue straight for about 200 meters until you reach the intersection with Stiftstraße. Turn left onto Stiftstraße and walk for another 100 meters. Stiftskirche will be on your right, located at Stiftstraße 12.

    If you are in the city center, locate the main shopping street, Königstraße. Walk south towards the 'Stadtmitte' area. As you walk, look for the 'Schlossplatz' (Palace Square) on your left. Continue past the square, and you will see the 'Stiftskirche' in the distance. Keep walking straight for about 400 meters until you reach Stiftstraße. Turn right on Stiftstraße, and the church will be located at number 12 on your right.

    Find the nearest tram stop, which could be 'Stadtmitte' or 'Schlossplatz'. Board any tram heading towards 'Friedrichstraße' (Tram Line 1 or 2). After 1 stop, get off at 'Stadtmitte'.
