From any location in the Thuringian Forest, head towards the A4 motorway. If you're in the southern part of the forest, use local roads to reach the nearest access point to the A4. Once on the A4, drive towards Erfurt and take exit 49-Weimar. Follow the signs for Weimar (B85). As you enter Weimar, continue on B85 until you reach Schillerstraße. Turn left onto Schillerstraße, and you will find Weimarhaus at number 16. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for parking fees which typically range from 1 to 2 euros per hour.

If you are using public transportation, start by finding the nearest train station in the Thuringian Forest, such as in Oberhof or Suhl. Take a regional train towards Weimar. The train journey may take approximately 30-60 minutes depending on your starting location. Upon arriving at Weimar train station, exit the station and look for bus line 1 or 2 towards Weimar City Center. The bus will take you to Schillerstraße, where you will disembark. Weimarhaus is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. No additional costs are incurred for using the bus as it is usually included in your train ticket.
