Car

If you're driving to Basalt Park, start by getting onto the A3 highway. Depending on your location in Westerwald, follow local roads to reach the nearest A3 access point. Once on the A3, head toward the exit for Bad Marienberg (Exit 25). After exiting, follow the signs for Bad Marienberg. Continue on the B256 and turn onto Bismarckstraße. Basalt Park will be located at Bismarckstraße 66, Bad Marienberg. There is no cost for parking at the park.

Public Transportation

To reach Basalt Park via public transport, take the regional train to Bad Marienberg from the nearest train station in Westerwald. Trains run frequently, but check the schedule in advance. Upon arriving at Bad Marienberg train station, exit and head toward the bus stop located outside the station. Take bus line 300 towards Bad Marienberg - Bismarckstraße. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the Bismarckstraße stop, and Basalt Park is just a short walk away at Bismarckstraße 66. Ensure you purchase a ticket before boarding the train and bus; prices may vary based on your starting location.

Walking (from Bad Marienberg)

If you're already in Bad Marienberg and prefer to walk to Basalt Park, head north on Bismarckstraße. The park is approximately 1 kilometer from the town center and will take around 15-20 minutes on foot. Look for the park entrance on your left at Bismarckstraße 66. This is a pleasant walk, allowing you to enjoy the local scenery.
