Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to Frankenwerft, head towards the city center of Cologne (Köln). From the A4 motorway, take the exit towards Köln-Klettenberg. Follow the signs for Innenstadt (city center). Once you are in the city, look for signs pointing to the Altstadt (Old Town) area. Parking is available at various parking garages nearby, such as Parkhaus Am Dom (address: An den Dominikanern 1, 50668 Köln). Expect to pay around €2 per hour for parking. From the parking garage, it is a short 10-minute walk to Frankenwerft. Follow the signs to the Rhine River promenade, and you will arrive at Frankenwerft 31-33, 50667 Köln.

• Train

  For those traveling by train, take an intercity or regional train to Köln Hauptbahnhof (Cologne Central Station). This station is well-connected and is a major hub for travelers. Upon arrival, exit the station onto Bahnhofsvorplatz. From there, walk towards the Rhine River; it will take approximately 15 minutes. Head southwest on Trankgasse, then turn right onto Breite Straße. Continue straight until you reach the river promenade, and then follow it to Frankenwerft 31-33. The walk offers scenic views of the Rhine and the Cologne Cathedral.

• Public Transport (Tram/Bus)

  If you prefer public transport, take the tram to the Heumarkt station (lines 1, 7, 9, or 16). Once you exit the tram, head towards the Rhine River. It is a short 5-minute walk to Frankenwerft from Heumarkt. Walk down the street towards the river, and you will find Frankenwerft located at 31-33 along the promenade. The ticket price for a single journey within the city is approximately €3.00.
