From the Markt (main market square), walk east towards the Rathaus; Krämerstraße begins just past the City Hall. The fountain is free to access and open at all times.

If arriving by public transport to Aachen Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take a bus to the 'Aachen, Alter Posthof' stop. Several bus lines serve this stop, including lines 33, 46, and 51. From Alter Posthof, walk north along Büchel street, then turn right onto Krämerstraße. The Puppenbrunnen will be on your left in about 200 meters. A single bus fare within Aachen typically costs €2.80. Alternatively, from the Elisenbrunnen bus stop, walk south along Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz, turn left onto Kapuzinergraben, then right onto Krämerstraße. The Puppenbrunnen will be on your right.
