Public Transport
If you are starting from Würzburg's main train station (Würzburg Hauptbahnhof), you can take tram line 4 towards 'Zellerau'. Ride the tram for about 10 minutes until you reach the stop 'Festung Marienberg'. Upon exiting the tram, follow the signs towards 'Festung Marienberg'. The museum is located at the top of the hill within the fortress grounds.

From the Würzburg city center, head towards the Main River and cross the Alte Brücke (Old Bridge). Once you cross the bridge, turn right and follow the path that leads up to the fortress.
