Car
From Zugspitze, take the B2 road heading east towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Continue on B2 for about 13 kilometers until you reach the junction with B23. Take the B23 towards Füssen. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will come to a roundabout in Eisenberg. Take the first exit at the roundabout onto B310, and follow the signs for Hohenfreyberg Castle. Continue on this road for about 2 kilometers, and you will see Hohenfreyberg Castle on your right. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
From Zugspitze, walk to the nearest bus stop and take bus line 9 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Garmisch-Partenkirchen train station. From there, take the train towards Füssen. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Eisenberg station, exit the station and follow the signs to Hohenfreyberg Castle. It is a 25-minute walk uphill from the station. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the station directly to the castle.
