Start by heading southwest on the Aburi Road (R82) from Aburi town. Follow the R82 for about 20 km, enjoying the scenic views along the way. You will pass through several small towns and villages. From Aburi, find a trotro (shared minibus) heading towards Cape Coast or Elmina. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will stop at Kakum National Park. The fare is typically around 10 GHS. The journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach the park entrance, you may need to pay an entrance fee of around 20 GHS. From the drop-off point, it's a short walk to the park entrance.
