Car
From Akyem, start your journey by heading northwest on the N10 road. Drive for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the junction for the N2 road. Turn left onto N2 and continue for about 150 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Damongo, which is a key town near Mole National Park. After entering Damongo, follow the signs to Mole National Park, which is about 30 kilometers from Damongo. The entire journey by car will take approximately 3 to 4 hours depending on traffic conditions.
Public Transportation
Begin your journey by taking a shared taxi or trotro (minibus) from Akyem to Kumasi, which is a major transportation hub. This leg of the journey should cost around GHS 10 to 15 and take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Kumasi, switch to a bus or shared taxi heading to Damongo. This part of the trip will cost approximately GHS 20 and take another 3 to 4 hours. Upon reaching Damongo, you can hire a taxi to take you the final 30 kilometers to Mole National Park. The taxi fare from Damongo to Mole is usually around GHS 50 to 70.
