Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car from Kumasi, head east on the N6 highway. Continue on this road for approximately 90 km until you reach the town of Boti. Once you arrive in Boti, follow the signs to Boti Waterfalls. The last stretch will involve a short drive on a dirt road leading directly to the waterfall entrance. Make sure to have cash on hand, as there is an entrance fee of about 5 Ghana Cedis per person.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Boti Waterfalls using public transportation, take a trotro or bus from the central bus terminal in Kumasi heading to Akosombo or Koforidua. Ensure you inform the driver or the mates that you want to stop at Boti. The journey will take around 2-3 hours. Once you reach Boti, you can either walk to the waterfalls (about a 30-minute hike) or hire a local taxi to take you directly to the entrance. Expect to pay around 10-20 Ghana Cedis for the taxi ride. Don't forget to carry cash for the entrance fee.

• Local Taxi

  If you're already in Boti and need to reach the waterfalls, you can hire a local taxi. Simply ask around for a taxi service; they are usually available at the town center. The ride to the waterfall entrance will cost approximately 10-15 Ghana Cedis. Make sure to agree on a return fare if you plan to come back after your visit.
