Getting there

Car

From Accra, head east on the N1 highway. Continue for about 60 km until you reach the junction for the N6. Take the N6 towards Koforidua. After approximately 25 km, take the exit towards Koforidua. Follow the road signs into Koforidua city. Once in Koforidua, navigate to the coordinates 6.04899, -0.28977. You will find an unnamed road leading to Kentenkren Waterfalls. Ensure you have a GPS or map app to assist in locating the exact spot as it may not be well marked.

Public Transportation

From Accra, head to the Central Bus Terminal and take a trotro or bus heading to Koforidua. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Koforidua, you can take a taxi or a motorbike taxi (okada) to the coordinates 6.04899, -0.28977. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your ride. The cost should be around 10-20 GHS depending on the distance.

Walking/Trekking

Once you reach the unnamed road at the coordinates 6.04899, -0.28977, you may need to walk a short distance to the waterfalls. The path may not be well defined, so it’s advisable to ask locals for directions.
