Getting There

• Private Car

  If you are traveling by private car, start your journey from any location in Brong-Ahafo and head towards Kintampo. Follow the signs to Kintampo on the Kintampo-Tamale Highway (N10). The Kintampo Waterfalls are located just after the falls rest stop on this highway. Ensure you have a GPS or a reliable map for easier navigation. There are no tolls on this route.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach Kintampo Waterfalls using public transportation, find a bus station in your area in Brong-Ahafo that offers services to Kintampo. Buses are available from cities like Sunyani and other local towns. The journey may cost between GHS 10 to GHS 20, depending on your starting point. Inform the bus conductor of your destination, and they will let you know when to disembark. Once you arrive in Kintampo, you can take a shared taxi or walk to the waterfalls, which is a short distance from the bus station.

• Shared Taxi

  If you prefer a quicker option after arriving in Kintampo by bus, you can take a shared taxi to the Kintampo Waterfalls. Shared taxis can be found near the bus station. Expect to pay around GHS 5 to GHS 10 per person. Let the driver know your destination, and they will take you directly to the waterfalls.

• Walking

  If you are already in Kintampo and prefer to walk, you can take a leisurely stroll to the Kintampo Waterfalls. From the town center, head towards the Kintampo-Tamale Highway (N10) and follow it until you see the signs for the waterfalls. The walk should take about 20 to 30 minutes, depending on your pace.

• Safety and Costs

  Please note that there is usually an entrance fee to access the waterfalls, which may range from GHS 5 to GHS 10. It's also advisable to carry some water and snacks, as facilities around the waterfalls may be limited.
