Car
If you are driving from any major town in Brong-Ahafo, the best route is to head towards the town of Kintampo. From Kintampo, take the N12 road heading east. After approximately 30 km, look for a sign indicating a turn-off towards Tagbo Falls. Follow the gravel road for about 10 km until you reach a small parking area near the falls. Make sure your vehicle is in good condition as the road can be rough in places.
Public Transportation
To reach Tagbo Falls via public transportation, start by taking a trotro (shared minibus) from any major town in Brong-Ahafo to Kintampo. Upon arrival in Kintampo, you can either hire a taxi or ask locals for directions to the nearest trotro station heading towards the direction of Tagbo Falls. You may need to take a trotro to a nearby village and then negotiate with local motorbike taxis (okadas) for the last leg of the journey to the falls. Expect to pay around GHS 10-15 for the motorbike ride from the village to the falls.
Hiking/Walking
If you are already near the falls and prefer to hike, you can trek from the nearest village (approximately 5 km away). Follow the local footpaths, and make sure to ask for directions from villagers. The path may take you through beautiful landscapes but can be steep in places, so wear suitable hiking shoes and bring plenty of water.
