If you are driving from Busua, start by heading west on the main road towards Akwidaa. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers. You will pass through the town of Akwidaa. After passing Akwidaa, keep an eye out for a sign directing you to Half Assini. Turn left onto the road leading to Half Assini. Follow this road for around 6 kilometers. SS-Bakana will be located at the address 24W6+XR, Half Assini. The total travel time should be approximately 30-35 minutes, depending on traffic.
Public Transportation
To reach SS-Bakana using public transportation, first, take a shared taxi or Tro-Tro from Busua to Half Assini. The Tro-Tros leave from the main taxi station in Busua and cost around 3-5 GHS (Ghanaian Cedi). The journey to Half Assini will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Half Assini, you can either walk to SS-Bakana, which is about a 10-15 minute walk, or negotiate with a local taxi for a short ride, which may cost around 5-10 GHS.
