From Cape Coast, head to the main bus terminal located near the Cape Coast Castle. Look for buses heading towards Takoradi or Elmina. Confirm with the bus driver that they will stop at Kakum National Park. The fare is typically low, around 2-3 GHS. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you will be dropped off along the main road near the park entrance.

For a quicker option, you can take a shared taxi from Cape Coast. Head to the shared taxi stand, which is usually near the bus terminal or main market area. Look for taxis with 'Kakum National Park' written on them or ask the drivers if they go there. The fare will be around 10-15 GHS per person, and the journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Share the taxi with other passengers until you reach your destination.

If you enjoy walking and are up for an adventure, you can walk to Kakum National Park. Starting from the Cape Coast Castle, head north towards the main road (R82).
