Great Experience in Ghana

A Plan D When Plan A, B, and C fall short.
You have to get up extremely early for this tour which is understandable. You have a long drive! The problem I have is the driver being 30+ minutes late. If I have to get up early to be downstairs at 6am, I should not have to wait 30 minutes for him to show up! The planner lady told me 3 minutes assuming I would not call the driver. I called the driver and he said 15 minutes. This was after I was already out there waiting. I do recommend a different driver (or company) with a newer vehicle. As someone who’s 5 feet 10 inches that car was quite uncomfortable for the long ride. I didn’t even mention he caught a flat tire on the way back home 😭

Assin Manso Slave River, Cape Coast and Elmina Castle Day Tour

Visiting Assin Manso Slave River was deeply moving and gave me a better perspective on the slave trade’s impact.Daniel and Clinton Castle provided so much history, and our guide did an excellent job explaining the significance of each location.
