Once you reach a roundabout, take the first exit onto the Elmina-Cape Coast Road (N1). Continue on this road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach Elmina. As you enter the town, follow the signs for Elmina Castle. The castle will be on your left side at the address 3MM2+4R3, Elmina. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Elmina Castle via public transportation, find a trotro (shared minibus) heading towards Elmina from Cape Coast. The trotro station is usually located near the Cape Coast castle. Board the trotro and pay the fare (around 2-5 GHS). The journey takes about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Inform the driver that you're going to Elmina Castle, and they'll drop you off near the entrance. From there, it's a short walk to the castle.

Expect to pay around 30-50 GHS from Cape Coast to Elmina Castle. The taxi will take you directly to the castle entrance at 3MM2+4R3, Elmina.
