Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Ho, the capital of the Volta Region. Head north on the N1 highway until you reach the junction for the Hohoe road. Take a left and continue for about 12 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Mount Adaklu. Follow these signs, and after approximately 30 minutes of driving, you will arrive at the base of Mount Adaklu. There is a small parking area available.

Public Transportation
To reach Mount Adaklu using public transport, board a trotro (shared minibus) from Ho to Hohoe at the main trotro station in Ho. The fare is usually around 5 GHS. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you reach Hohoe, you will need to find another trotro heading towards Adaklu. Inform the driver you are going to Mount Adaklu; the fare is approximately 2 GHS. After about 15 minutes, you'll arrive at the base of the mountain. You may need to walk a short distance to the entrance.
