Walking
From the center of Ho, start at the Ho Central Market. Head east on the main road towards the junction with the Togo Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Afadjato Road. This is about a 20-minute walk. At the junction, you can find local guides and transport options to continue your journey.
Shared taxi or motorbike taxi (okada)
Once you reach the junction of Afadjato Road, look for shared taxis or motorbike taxis (okadas) heading towards Afadjato Mountain. You can negotiate a fare, which should be around 5-10 GHS. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to go to Mount Afadja, which is well known in the area.
Walking
After arriving at the base of Mount Afadja, you will see a clear path leading to the mountain. The trail is well-marked and will take you about 1-2 hours to reach the summit, depending on your pace. Ensure you have water and wear comfortable shoes for the hike.
