You will pass several local shops and eateries on your way. The Kumasi Zoological Gardens will be on your right, just before you reach Ampabame. Look for the entrance to the gardens which is well-marked.

    To get to the Kumasi Zoological Gardens from anywhere in Kumasi, you can take a taxi or a boda boda (motorbike taxi). Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Kumasi Zoological Gardens on Kejetia Road'. Most drivers will know this popular location. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure you have small change to pay for the fare.
