If you are traveling by car, start from any major town in the North East Region, such as Nalerigu or Gambaga. From Nalerigu, take the Nankpanduri road towards the south. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the Bunkpurugu road and take a left turn. Follow this road until you hit the main Tamale-Accra road (N6). Take a right towards Accra and drive approximately 25 km until you reach the Densu Delta Protected Area. Make sure to have a map or GPS since some rural roads may not be well marked.

For those using public transportation, head to the main bus terminal in Nalerigu. Look for buses that travel towards Accra. The fare to Accra is approximately 30 GHS. Once you arrive in Accra, you can take a taxi to reach Densu Delta Protected Area. The taxi fare from the city center to the protected area will be around 20-30 GHS. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
