Car
If you are driving from Tamale, take the N10 road heading east towards Bolgatanga. Continue on this road for approximately 120 kilometers. Once you reach Bolgatanga, follow the signs to the town of Tongo. From Bolgatanga, it is about a 10-kilometer drive to Tongo Hills. As you approach Tongo, look for the sign indicating the direction to Tengzug Shrine, which is located near the base of the hills. Parking is available near the shrine.

Public Transportation
From Tamale, you can take a shared taxi or a bus heading to Bolgatanga. The journey will take around 2-3 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Bolgatanga, find a local trotro (minibus) that goes to Tongo. This ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving in Tongo, you can either walk to the hills or hire a local taxi to take you to Tengzug Shrine. Expect to pay around 10 GHS for the trotro and about 20 GHS for a local taxi to the shrine.

Walking
If you are already in Tongo, you can walk to Tengzug Shrine from the town center. It is about a 15-20 minute walk. Follow the main road heading towards the hills, and look for signs directing you to the shrine. The path is relatively well-marked, and you will enjoy the scenic views along the way.
