If you are traveling by car within the Savanes Region, start from the town of Dapaong, which is well connected by roads. From Dapaong, head northeast on the N1 road towards the border with Ghana. After approximately 50 kilometers, you will reach the turnoff for Gambaga. Follow the signs towards Gambaga, and continue on the road until you arrive at the Gambaga Escarpment area. The drive takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on road conditions.

For those opting for public transportation, head to the main bus station in Dapaong. Look for shared taxis or buses heading towards Gambaga. The fare is typically around 2 to 5 GHS (Ghanaian Cedi). The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Gambaga, you may need to take a taxi to reach the escarpment itself, which could cost around 5 GHS. Ensure to check the schedule for return trips.

If you are already in Gambaga and want to reach the Gambaga Escarpment on foot, it is about a 3 km walk. From the center of Gambaga, head southwest towards the escarpment.
